When he isn't Dick Cheney's ventriloquist dummy, George W. Bush is a FF. Unfortunately he was a dummy for much of his presidency, but I am happy to say he has been a pretty good guy since leaving office. Thank you sir!

Bush went on the Today show... and proved he's going to be even more critical against Trump than Obama will be (or than he ever was during the Obama years)

Good.

I often disagree with Bush, but I agree with all of the points he has made during this interview.  More importantly, a Republican acting like he has a pair and publicly chastising Trump for his inappropriate legislative agenda is a very rare thing lately.  We need more of them.  Romney and McCain are in that corner as well, but unlike them, Bush was actually elected president so his words carry weight.  When will the majority leaders in congress grow a pair?

Bush is in absolutely no position to criticize other presidents for abusing their power and this interview shouldn't change anyone's mind about him one bit.  Come on.

Yep, all he's doing is destroying what sentimental support is left of him among the Republican party.

Dubya probably hates Trump because Trump called Dubya out on the Iraq war during a Republican debate, and used it to attack and destroy Jeb.

on at least 4 different points at once, though. Credit where credit is due.

who knows?  maybe he'll be the Republican version of Jimmy Carter period and ineffective president who was a vastly superior source of moral guidance after he left office. He'll of course never hold a candle to Saint Jimmy in that regard comma but he could do a great deal of help for the country and showing that aversion to trumps crazy extremism is hardly partisan
