Well, written by my religious beliefs, workers should be able not to work on Sunday!

I support this. Although, I believe that government services should still remain open.
Could you be a little clearer?

Well, no opposition, Arturo Belano's amendment is adopted!

And don't forget it's an amendment!
I ask unanimous consent for calling a vote.

I'd also propose amending the bill to protect the sabbath rest rights and responsibilities for adherents of the Jewish and other faiths. However I'm from the region to your east so one of your legislators will have to propose such.
Sabbath rest?

Thanks for your concern TNF but this amendment has passed the Alping, so Lumine has to open a thread, so we, members of the Althing, can't make an amendment right now, maybe for the future.
----
However, I fail to see how the court might see it as a violation of the church of state. This bill hasn't made a single reference to Christianity or other religions. In France, Church and state are separated but "Sunday rest" is a worker's right, and this is written in the Constitution!

Ah, alright  then, my bad. I'll be voting Aye on it, for the record. Smiley
But you have raised a good question, so this amendment may be rewritten in the future, but not soon! And thank you for participating to the Althing's debates!
