The interesting thing is that the Culinary Union is giving hints that Any may be their preferred candidate. If so, then their organization may be enough in Nevada at least.

Question. Why do people keep saying she should be a VP to somebody?

Why would anyone want to be a VP? What do they do?

At least in the Senate she keeps very busy passing bills. That sounds more interesting than being a VP.

Besides, when does a VP ever get elected President? Unless Biden swings it this time, he's tried to be Pres a couple times before and tanked.

Again, why would anyone as busy and talented as Amy want to be a VP?

People oftentimes forget this. Clinton, after the 2008 primary got the SoS job, not the VP - likely for similar reasons. The VP these days is all about pandering to a specific community/state/ideology, the other cabinet slots are more important.
