Turnout was high this election

June 2021: 158 votes (held alongside LT vs Seven election)
August 2021: 110 votes
October 2021: 127 votes (Scott vs Cao)
December 2021: 135 votes
February 2022: 130 votes (OBD vs LT)
April 2022: 122 votes
June 2022: 121 votes (Cao vs HCP vs MB)
August 2022: 116 votes
October 2022: 123 votes (Cao vs DC)
December 2022: 89 votes
February 2023: 135 votes (Tack vs Cao)

Turnout is the highest in over a year, and is tied with december 2021 for second highest turnout for the at large since Atlasia adopted the fifth constitution and reformed the senate, impressive especially after the drop in december which by far had the lowest turnout.

Both Labor and the Federalists did an excellent job in turning out people. They definitely both deserve some credit, which made it harder for smaller parties inbetween to get people elected. In particular Poirot but also DA had a tougher challenge than usual, whereas WB had an easier time getting elected in december due to the lower turnout of the general electorate, and the reliable turnout of his own base.

I'd say Peace has also carved itself a large base to hold whenever high turnout is present

There were a lot more registered voters in June or December 2021, which means that in terms of share of the population this election's turnout of about 80% must be the highest in a long, long time.

Some reason this made me picture Bernie Sanders famous "when we have high turnout..."
