Well, at least Brown doesn't poll elsewhere, so it isn't as if they're wasting their time, just ours.

There was some speculation that the Catholic/socially moderate Giuliani would resonate well with Rhode Island voters.  (Not well enough to win, of course, but not 26-point-deficit-poor.)  Survey USA showed the race much closer, IIRC.

Survey USA never polled RI, but MA ... And even there Giuliani struggles to reach 40%.

No, no Republican has a chance in Rhode Island.  That's ridiculous.

I amazed 18% are undecided; I wonder how many will go for Clinton and how many for Rudy.

I'm not going to blame Brown for polling their own state.  All universities, save for Quinnipiac obviously, are going to do that.

Rhode Island seems to be setting up to be even more Democratic than Massachusetts this season.  Then again, IIRC, it's often like that in early polling.

And the 1980 and 2000 general elections, off the top of my head.

Rhode Island is virtually impossible to poll with any accuracy by all accounts.

As Lisa Simpson said, No not Brown, Brown, Brown (the word Brown echoes and echoes). What's the point of polling Rhode Island when it's already in the bag for the Democrats? Maybe they want to be known for something credible for once Wink. (If you can even call this poll credible).
