"WTF" indeed. The division makes some sense though, as I'm sure most people from Cairns or Townsville or anywhere on the Cape York Peninsula want nothing to do with Brisbane and its suburbs. Thanks for posting this!

The problem with their Capricornia is that the map shows the new state entirely above the tropic of Capricorn, which would pass through the remaining Queensland. But, whatever.

North Queensland would be a good idea, immediately after Victoria secedes. Can you imagine the Senators? Shudder.
