Beck was not impressed today. (just providing some right-wing perspective for the Atlas liberal bubble)

I'm a bit confused what do you mean by that exactly.

Almost anything Glenn Beck said in that transcript could have been said by an "Atlas liberal" just as easily IMO. Towards the very end, Beck outright says that Donald Trump Jr. "should go to jail".
I can't resist a bit of snark every now and then. Such is life being a Trump supporter on Atlas. However, what I meant was that Atlas strongly favors mainstream media or partisan left-wing outlets, so I thought it would be good to show that there are major commentators on the right who are rather appalled by this, too.

Actually, while he didn't support Trump in the election, he has been mostly supportive of his Presidency and never got caught up in the weekly outrage sessions by the left and the McMullin types.

oh, sure, since he is off the meds he is not an idiot anymore and critical of outrage.

i just meant, he never ever published anything during the last year which hurt my brain in any way and he did never compromise to my knowledge regarding my core interests/comrpomising liberal democracy.

Yup,  read the thread. The link to the Podesta emails being dumped is surprisingly clear based on Trump's statements and his campaign stuff. Also Assange and Guccifer 2.0 began getting into high gear shortly after.

Tapper made the connection and you see shortly after the whole thing. I'm not sure how this fits with the Flynn WSJ story.

One thing that puzzles me. What led Trump to change his Russian position between 2014 and 2016? He called Russia an enemy in 2014 although expressed friendliness to Putin in 2013 at the Miss Universe pageant. Not sure on that front.

well, besides the fact that trump is famously hard to predict and arguably suffers from physical problems, there is still the little matter of the tax returns and he is kind of off-message all the time, resulting into comments which put holes into his own statements.

btw.....in internal memos, the breitbart london chief called the Donnie Junior news "collusion".

Man checking on Twitter and other social media Trumpers are really trying to somehow make Jr a hero for being transparent. An that right there is why they chose Trump cause they know the RW will twist itself into a pretzel to defend "their side" no matter how blantenly bad

Trey Gowdy has found at least his tongue....

1. Trey Gowdy on Fox News: The drip drip drip is undermining the credibility of this administration.

2. Gowdy just now: What's w/ the amnesia of this administration? Someone needs to get everyone together and find out what the real story is

3. Gowdy says he is very concerned about the language in the email....

Out of all the members of the Trump family, I have always hated Don Jr. the most along with his smug face and arrogant personality. I must say these past couple of hours have been sweet and enjoyable for me. Cannot wait until he is thrown in jail!

Alt-right twitter (Cernovich, Menk, Paul Joseph Watson) Is now trying to hilariously conjure up a story where Hillary colluded with Ukraine in the election. That is probably the most pathetic attack on Clinton yet.

Well, we can rule out any similar emails from the Clinton camp.  Considering that the Russians, WikiLeaks, and the FBI (at least) have seen her emails, they'd undoubtedly have come out by now. Wink

Who would bother colluding with Ukraine? If you're going to cheat, conspire, etc., you'll pick a country that has the power to make a difference in our election...

The next logical step in this chain is that Russia invaded Ukraine in order to protect the integrity of American elections.  If some RW pundit actually says this, remember that you heard it here first. Smiley

I'm not sure if you're joking, but I unironically think that within the next few months thess types will be promoting some kind of U.S. retaliation against Ukraine

So why did the Clinton campaign get help from Ukraine?

What's astonishing is that Trump supporters mainly don't even defend trump anymore. It's mainly just deflection about old issues or gloating about the election.

85% of Republicans support trump or something according to gallup's daily tracker. But think of it as pressure building up against a dam. There's only so much collective bs they can take before the dam bursts. Bush went through the same thing.

The "good times" are rolling. Wait for the recession.

Intent to do what? Gather opposition research from a foreigner. That isn't a crime.

Receiving stolen goods, that's a crime in the UK as well. What 'stolen private property' did Don Jr intend to receive then?

All of that was mentioned in the e-mail exchange. I must have missed that.
