I think he also made a pledge to pick a female VP at some point?

My guess at the shortlist would be Tammy Baldwin, Elizabeth Warren, Karen Bass, Deb Haaland, Gwen Moore? I think he'd ultimately pick Baldwin or Haaland?

I think those would absolutely be the most likely, though I'd give the edge to Nina Turner due to her age and possible her being a woman of color as well.

Not sure why the likes of Kamala Harris, Tammy Duckworth, Val Demings, etc. haven't been mentioned yet. These pics are  also minorities, and as members of the more moderate wing of the party, their picks would do a lot to unite the party behind Sanders.

I think in the end it would be Duckworth. Bernie's an idealist but not an idiot. Duckworth proves not only a good olive branch to mainstream elements of the party, but a good balance on all fronts as well.

Bernie, having made the same pledge as Biden, would probably be vetting the exact same set of candidates. Tho, of course, he might also be considering Barbara Lee, despite her age, as she's a close friend of his.

At the March 15th debate, Bernie only said that he'd likely select a woman as his running mate, but he didn't "pledge" to do so like Biden did.

I'm sure he'd be vetting the likes of Baldwin, Turner, Warren, Barbara Lee, Jeff Merkley, Ro Khanna, & maybe (but probably not) Tulsi.

I think he'd end up going with Baldwin.

He’d be vetting the same candidates that Biden is vetting now with Harris assumed to be the front runner among a number of women of color.  Nina Turner would not be being considered seriously.

Probably. Nina Turner is VERY unqualified to be President. Her highest elected office is in the Ohio state Senate. I don't think Bernie would have picked her in the end for those reasons.

No way Bernie picks Nina Turner. A state senator who hasn’t held office for 6 years will never be in serious contention.

I think he'd be tossing up between Harris, Baldwin and Duckworth.

Baldwin or Duckworth. Warren is doubtful unless she had dropped out early and endorsed Bernie.
