Mostly noise I suspect.  Nothing has happened in the last couple of days which would cause any changes to cause movement.

If the actual numbers sit right in the middle (or if one is a 1-in-20)

Fair point but doesn't Rasmussen seem to be reflecting similar things?

If anything, he's probably taken a slight hit from the debate. I wouldn't expect it to last though.

Probably a slight drop, but this good be just one very anti Obama sample.  It's too early to tell.

Generally speaking, it's extremely unlikely for a movement from +8 to -1 to be MoE. Extremely. But national polling doesn't really matter unless it goes to the convention (and even then probably only if one candidate is clearly ahead).

Obama needs to avoid any more "debates", since they are total BS attacks on Obama.

I haven't seen any debate attacks - he was asked questions about liabilities to his campaign (which are relevant). His lackluster debate performances continue.

It could just be a really bad sample.  Or she could be moving.  Let me check the 'bots.

Possibly some slight tightening (I just checked the 'bots), overall.  I'd say a 2-4 point race with Obama up.

Only 26% Say Obama Looks Down on Americans (April 22, 2008)

All three presidential candidates are generally viewed as respectful
