This is why I was against this whole revolt from the beginning. Trump, Carson, and the bottom tier candidates were simply using it as a way to lord their demands over everyone and try to make the rules work exclusively to their advantage. This wasn't about standing up to media bias or the RNC. This was a takeover by Carson and Trump. And now, exclusively, a takeover by Trump. I've been so upset at all these online bloggers I follow for applauding this whole process, while being so embarrassingly blind to the shenanigans it really is.

Now Christie, Fiorina and Kasich say they will not sign the joint letter

It's descending into Lord of the Flies.

For all the establishment bemoaning of Trump's candidacy, everyone in the party seems to be quite content to simply follow his lead on everything.

If all the remaining candidates sign the letter, they'll still have enough clout to do whatever they like.  Particularly since Carson, Cruz, and Rubio are still in on it.

This primary season so far on the Pub side has been a total, unmitigated, disaster. Thanks for listening.

So far only Carson, Huckabee, Jindal and Graham are confirmed to sign the letter
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/258967-republicans-struggle-with-defections-from-debates-plan

And there is already some blowback, notably Megan Kelly of Fox mocked the effort..."do they want foot massages too?"

President Obama has also jibed the candidates for complaining about debate moderators while claiming they are the ones who can take on China and Russia

If there's a debate with, say, 8 candidates, does this mean that every candidate, in a 2 hour debate, will get 15 minutes? Debates should be equal for all candidates. Smiley
