Aww, I liked Ronaldinho. Sad to know he’s far-right.

He's a dumb empty bag of wind. He'll lose. He isn't like Romario who was able to fool electors fighting against football crooks (Marco Polo del Nero, CBF president who can't leave Brazil was suspended by Fifa this week).
Aww, I liked Romario. Sad to know he's inept.

(clearly I know nothing about Brazilian politics)

Today, Rio de Janeiro town councillor Marielle Franco (PSOL), 38, was murdered after denouncing policemen for a murder. Rio's police is under Federal control some weeks. She was black human rights activist and was 5th most voted town councillor. Along her, her driver was also murdered.
Jesus. RIP.

Brazil is o the ropes right now and needs a unifying, above-the-fray figure to enter the presidential race.

Anyway, I'm with Boulos. Wish D'Avila was running on her own ticket.

It’s an open secret that the PT’s candidates will be Haddad (ugh) and Manuela d’Ávila, former congresswoman, member of the PCdoB (who are allying with the PT) and most attractive politician in the world.

Guilherme Boulos is one of my favorite national level candidates in recent memory.

If there was ranked choice, I’d go Boulos 1st, Haddad 2nd and Gomes 3rd.

Seems pretty consistent with all the others. It seems that PT is likely to win again for the 5th election in a row.

Did Bolsonaro made some kind of gaffe or major error that gave Haddad a chance to pass him? I thought the "will not vote PT under any circumstances" vote would block him.

Recently there were media reports of a spat with his top economic adviser, outspoken opposition from women groups (women's role in society) and soccer fans (mostly over minority rights), and a media report that he allegedly threatened his ex-wife.
So...he's Trump.

Thank god Brazil doesn't have the electoral college.
