There might be one in San Jose or northern Alameda County.

Nope. Closest is in Fairview. But there's a sh!tload less than 10 miles away in NYC.

Fully nude strip clubs are now illegal in Thailand, though some continue that practice on unpoliced nights in Pattaya and Bangkok.   The town in which I live has no strip clubs and only a very few small houses of prostitutes, but about an hour away is a big city with a few 'soapies', where the girls sit in skimpy clothes behind glass with numbers pinned to them, and you can order them upstairs for massage, joint bathings, and sex at about  $40-60. 

So basically, it's a gallery showcase before you order the sex.
