I am thinking of a future dominated by AI by around the 2040s. I imagine a future where I own a smart home, have robots around the house doing chores and interacting with the children.

I can also make a few predictions about it. Similar to the Civil Rights Movement in 1965, by 2065, there will be robots bringing suits for personhood and protection under the 14th Amendment.

Economy

-Jobs like Telemarketers, ride share drivers will no longer exist
-Autonomous cars will be manufactured and used by humans
-Jobs that require high intellectual capacity and empathy such as doctors, veterinarians will still exist for humans

Safety

-Crime goes down as human patrol officers are replaced by AI, with humans remaining in leadership capacities
-New laws will need to be passed to address liability issues

Medicine

-Nanobots will extend the human lifespan.
-Gene modification will be possible
-Gender selection of babies will be commonplace

Military

-Human soldiers will be removed from the battlefield
-Machines will fight wars

Social Effects

-Marrying robots will become socially acceptable

Lifestyles

-Robots will make menial tasks such as checking emails easier

I would move to rural Idaho and become a survivalist.
