Not in the very first days or her initial rollout, but after her disastrous Katie Couric interview, it certainly was. If you dig a little, there are a bunch of threads on this board that recount the events as they unfolded.

I mean, it ended up being so. I still don’t know if she cost more votes than she brought in, though. She was a superstar for McCain. Had she been strong on the issues and more competent in interviews, the race would have been a lot more interesting.

I will admit, as a stupid 16-year-old flirting with PUMA-ism at the time, Palin’s rollout as running mate actually gave me goosebumps, lol.
