I used to run a few of these online.  they're more fun.  instead of the winner pushing an .800 winning percentage and everyone picking the same winner in 13 of 16 games, the spread cuts the prolific like a knife.  I stopped doing this on Amazinz.com after 2007, when I stopped being a high school bookie.

if anyone needs a tutorial in how a spread works, I will be able to answer, as will patrick1 and a few others.

Are we picking every game or just the one we're most sure of?

in the end total victories will win the pool, so it behooves you to pick every game.

Wow, was that the spread at kickoff or did it end up coming down a bit?  Must say I havent been reading up on the NFL too much and didnt catch this- Ive been too busy pissing away money on the nags at Saratoga.

When was the last time a franchise stripped their championship team of the vast majority of the talent on the team in the off season?  The Ratbirds will be lucky to win 6 games this year.

as I remember it was up around 8.5/9 at one point, came down closer to 7.5.  hopefully you and a few others can get picks in in the next 14.5 hours so I can justify continuing this.
