Appropriate that NR finds this: Bevin attended a Bircher meeting last year. His campaign emphasizes that they were far from the only people attending said meeting, including reps of Massie and Paul.

Union KY is pretty close to here. An ultraconservative suburb.

Bill Clinton campaigning for Grimes later this month.

Rand Paul says that candidates that took money from Clinton should give it back because of...Monica Lewinsky.

Wow. He will always be a troll.

I wonder what McConnell's promised Rand for 2016 in exchange for his active support this year.

Wouldn't it just be a kick in the can if McConnell was defeated by and succeeded by someone even more right-wing than him? I remember McConnell during his first term and hoping back then that he would be defeated - but not by somebody like Bevin.

That would be totally, completely unacceptable in a democratic republic.

Bevin was for the bailouts before he was against them.

Please go on you two. A debate between two Atlas intellectual heavyweights should be truly awe-inspiring.

McConnell just had to cast an unnecessary vote to raise the debt ceiling because Ted Cruz abused the filibuster. A better illustration of hoist on one's own petard I have not seen this year.

TIME on Jerry Lundergan. Also notes that Biden will campaign for Grimes.

So Biden's going to campaign for Grimes, but Obama won't.  That's... very interesting.

McConnell will definitely make hay of Biden's appearance.
