McConnell's main strategy is going to be tying Grimes to Senate Democrats:

Really? He could tie her to Reid or Schumer or Sanders, but Landrieu?

Might as well say: "IF MY OPPONENT IS ELECTED SHE'LL BE ANOTHER JOE MANCHIN"

Lol, isn't that good for them (Kentucky) that they'll have another populist democrat like Manchin? Its ironic and dumb on McConnell's part.

Something to ponder from Politico. It's not directly about the race but it does include some interesting information: http://mobile.politico.com/iphone/story/1213/101307.html

Posting this here: Marksberry claims a county party chair and a much more prominent, as yet unnamed person tried to get him out of the race on Grimes' behalf.

Erickson: Cleaning up the GOP starts by ousting McConnell.

My favorite line:

Look what Team Mitch gave NRO. This actually reminds me of an ad Reid ran back in '86 against his Pub opponent, a party-switcher. Bevin has been doing a lot of groundwork from what I've read.

Hat tip to RRH. Probably expected, but FreedomWorks endorses Bevin.

Politico Bevin profile. My guess is McConnell lobs the nuke in about 2 months.

Jensen is the best fundraiser and has actual establishment support. Even with her, its Lean R.

Still, Grimes would likely carry the district if she remains competitive (McConnell lost it in 2008 while winning by 6 points overall).

Every Republican district in Kentucky will flip this year because the cities vote Democrat!  Don't you know how this stuff works?

It's Andy Barr. In Lexington.

He's more likely to get beaten than Massie, that's for sure.

Updated the above list. Some people (especially senate candidates) withdrew or failed to file. That list is now official.

Also like to mention that Massie's "Chamber of Commerce" challenger failed to file. That's too bad, I wanted to see him get beat. Oh well, I think he knew he wouldn't win anyway. Smiley

Bill Clinton campaigning for Grimes later this month.

Rand Paul says that candidates that took money from Clinton should give it back because of...Monica Lewinsky.
