Hynes

Quinn is losing momentum.  The early release fiasco and the Harold Washington add have been devastating.

My predictions:

Governor D Hynes 53%
                   Quinn 47%

Governor R McKenna 26%
                   Dillard     21%
                   Ryan       17%
                   And......   15%
                   Brady      13%
                   Proft         8%

Senator D  Giannoulias 46%
                  Hoffman      36%
                  Jackson       18%

Senator R   Kirk             69%
                   Hughes      16%
         Everybody else    15%

We'll see how right or wrong I am

No results from State Rep Dist 114 yes, so nothing in the East St. Louis metro area has reported and only 1 precinct from DuPAge in the County Board Chairman's race so alot to go.

Cook County Board President--ask tommorrow after the elcetion.  A book could be written about what he did to tick everybody off.  It would be easier to write out what he did that din't tick anybody off.  He was totally unqualified for the job to begin with.

Scott Lee Cohen is winning the Dem Lite Gov race.  He's a pawn broker by trade.  Given Illinois' financial situation, it might not be long before the state needs a pawn broker!!

Bill Brady is making a move in the GOP Governor's race.  Is down state enough to get him over the line this time?

Jason Plummer has moved ahead in the GOP Lite-guv race.  So the two guys who dropped the big bucks Cohen, and Plummer are leading the races for Lieutenant Governor.

203 out of 749 from DuPage reporting.  I kind of doubt Brady can hold it either.

In DuPage probably Dillard, but Jim Ryan would run strong there too.

DuPage almost all in, so Dillard has probably crested.  Is there enough for the ther 3 to catch up?

100 of those Cook County precincts are in CD-1, so that won't add a heck of a lot.  500 votes total at best to the pot.

That 82 precincts out in Champaign County will certainly give Mr. Brady a boost.  There's also 20 plus out in McLean which is Brady's home county.

That 22 precincts in McLean County still out are looming mighty big right now.  Brady is running at 62% there.

Of the 298 precincts out in Cook, 184 are in CDs 1,2, and 7 which are the majority African American Districts.  Don't expect too many GOP votes out of those.

I thin I posted above that half of the Cook County precincts are in CD's 1,2,7 which are African American Districts adn would give Dillar and Brady 200 votes between them at best.

Brady up 330.

The people over at Capitol Fax (an Illinois Politics blog) predict Brady by about 700.  Absentees will then come into play.
