I believe that there is a marked difference in the way folks in Walmart states view the value of investment in public education differently than the other states.

If Scoop Jackson were alive today he truly would be the Senator from Boeing.

Shouldn’t Disney be the biggest employer in California?

I'm assuming they aren't counting churches as employers, because if they did, Utah's biggest employer by far would be the LDS Church.

They are the largest employer in Orange County where most of their operations are, but nowhere near large enough to be the largest employer in the state.

I’m talking about just Disneyland but Disney as a company.

Because there is
Disney animation
Disneyland
Disney store
Disney imagineering
Disney live action

On top of that there is

Pixar
Lucasfilm
Marvel studios
Plus all the other small things that LFM runs like...

ILM
Skywalker sound

The animation and film divisions are mostly in Florida.

They used to be in the late 80s-early 2000s but not anymore.

There might be many LDS churches in Utah, but they're not the largest private employer, not every church employs a lot of people.

Yes, and they're still not the biggest private employer in California.

Why are public universities listed as private employers in that map?

Almost all of the products aren't cheaper anymore, plus there's the fact that they don't like to give people fulltime hours, they'll get them just under so they don't actually have to pay them what they deserve.

Interesting graph. Though Walmart terrifies me, since it's not a good employer (not speaking from own experience, but media reports and other people).

Not my fault they couldn't properly bribe the NYC city councils. The amount of graft they were providing, compared to Target, were rookie numbers son

Why are public universities listed as private employers in that map?

There is basically no such thing as a "public" university.
