The left wing fringe which lay within the heart of the Democratic Party has reared its ugly head in the state of Mississippi, and in so doing, ensured true Republican dominance of state politics for years to come.

I wonder if the Democratic Executive Committee of Mississippi has thought that maybe a large number of Mississippi Democrats are more supportive of traditional values, and the basics of common sense economics (not hard right or hard left), because their values are shared by many people in that state (as evidenced by their ability to hold onto state offices where their national brethren have not)?

All one needs to say to the Mississippi Democrats about this ideological cleansing is "say goodnight Gracie," because it is going to be a LONG stay in the wilderness.
