More useful for talented blue-state Pubs to focus on state offices rather than Senate seats that are very difficult to hold long-term, IMO. Hopefully he runs and wins.

Madigan's playing coy as to whether she'll challenge Quinn in the primary... if Quinn runs again. Any resident Illinoisans here?

The field will be very crowded but he'd probably start in the top tier, not necessarily #1. Will Madigan cause a bloodbath by challenging Quinn?
