A proposal:

Since, according to the Pacific Final Constitution, these states are now administered directly by the federal government, and since the main argument against it is a fact it was basically decided by three people, I've just introduced this emergency act:

Of course, if the President decides to order the SoFE to proceed in this direction without waiting for the legislation to reach the floor, I'd be most happy to withdraw

Yeah, this is probably my favorite idea for reform.

I would support this, but the Final Constitution is illegitimate.

OK, but instead of going nuclear on this, I'd prefer to have a legitimate referedum during which the Pacificians determine their own affairs.

I very much agree with that, but it needs to be fixed. Return to regionhood means nothing in legal terms.

I agree that the Final Const. is illegitimate for several reasons, but whatever gets the job done the most expediently - perhaps Kalwejt's bill should read, "Pre-4th Constitution status"?

The President, Chairman MaxQue, myself and Senator sbane have been working to formulate legislation on this matter for the past several days (the PM blackout didn't help) and if all goes as planned, sbane should be introducing that soon.

We must also address the Senate's position long term regarding legislative authority for a region and this legislation will also address that once it is done.
