Me: "Hahaha. Well, only 1 Democrat has ever been elected US Senator from Vermont. He's currently serving."
Ike: "Excellent, can I meet the other Senator?"

Ike: "OK, I'll talk to him."

Ike: "For some reason we didn't end up talking about the Republican party, but he seems pretty reasonable, and he's running for President. I'm thinking of supporting him."
