I think Newt would be a great Presidential Candidate. He would help inspire conservatives to get out and vote for him after Bush.

No conservative I know would support a man who left his wife while she dying of cancer.

No and Newt is dreaming if he thinks his candidacy for the Presidency would be anywhere close to successful.

That about sums it up.  Just as Barbara Boxer or Nancy Pelosi would be a great candidate from my point of view.

Newt doesn't stand a chance.

Gingrich is the most hypocritical little crybaby! But, oh well, if that's the kind of president you GOPers want....

Newt is a very smart man. so he wont get the nomination. you have to say something stupid like "jesus touched my heart" to get the nomination.

this will probably surprise a lot of people on here, but i actually like newt.  he thinks outside the box.

that being said, he would be a terrible candidate.

I agree with mitty here strangely enough, though I think Newt is sometimes on the side of "delusional", esp. if he thinks he has any shot whatsoever.

Gingrich wouldn't have gotten so far in the GOP or in Georgia without saying words to that effect.

Most Republicans would support Newt if he were our nominee...but no-one would support him to become our nominee.

The only worse person the Republicans can run is Tom DeLay.
