BTW, I don't understand: you like Blair despite Iraq war Huh

Note that my question is only for information, as this survivor is so heavily biased that your votes seem to be more reasonable than many others... in a way ! Wink

Always alive, always among Labour fans ? Wink

I may be alone, but
CALLAGHAN

EDIT: RAMSAY MACDONALD

Thsi survivor is so erratic that I haven't seen Ramsay is still "alive"...
No rule precludes me from changing my vote.
And, anyway, you don't mind... even the "traitor" Blair is saved to kick out Churchill or Baldwin...
I like Ramsay Macdonald. Despite being a traitor. Sad

Well, first of all, he managed to rebuild (a bit) what twenty years of conservative governments totally demolished, mostly public services. I know they are still awful today but Blair's contribution on this domain was positive. Let's say, before Blair's arrival, the situation was catastrophic ; after him, it was just horrible : much improved. Moreover, he did it by not damaging at all economic growth, being far more competent that conservatives, and exceptionnally competent for a labourists. So that there was more growth, (a bit) less badly dealt between riches and poors. I obviously would have prefered a more leftist, less "pragmatic bigot", someone who would have the courage to make greater changes, but I can't blame him when his role was so positive.
As for Iraq, he revealed to be totally wrong and deserves to be blamed for his blindly following Bush. But I think his motivations were not the same as Bush : it was not really an ideological choice, but mostly a strategical conception of the links with America and the Western Alliance : he probably believed that we should be united whatever the circumstances are. He was obviously wrong, but he didn't deserved this massive downturn of popularity.

Churchill was a horrible person in his own right. No need to vote for him to save Blair.
