This is exciting. It must be strange for our Scottish members that half the forum is more emotionally invested in the outcome than they are, though.

The rural areas are more conservative and older, I assume, which are probably more likely "no" votes. If "yes" only squeaks by in the city, it doesn't look good for secession.

I can't find any verficiation for that figure whatsoever (and Cris has since deleted the post) but no, that's a massive oversimplification.
