HP.  He should have stayed on, vote against Trump, and urge others to do the same.

I disagree.  This was actually the right move on his part.  The people of Texas voted for Trump.  If the former elector couldn't cast his vote as such, then he was correct to resign.  This way, someone who can vote for Trump will replace him.  Smiley
