Little known historical fact: After his narrow 1824 loss in the House to John Q. Adams, Andrew Jackson vowed to never have an election stolen from him again. Deciding that the only way to fight fire was with more fire, he founded the Democratic Party and its private arm ACORN, determined to steal the next election. Thanks to massive voting fraud (ACORN reportedly "found" over 300,000 votes for Mr. Jackson), he prevailed and went on to win re-election with ACORN's help. In the 1830 midterms, Jackson realized that ACORN could steal congressional races as well, resulting in the first Democratic congressman. ACORN and the Democratic party have been working together ever since, ensuring that the true voice of the people is ignored and Republicans are defeated.
