for example Heidi Heitkamp won the attorney general race both in 1992 and 1996 by a landslide and still list the governors race to Hoeven by 10 points in 2000, and Allison Lundergan Grimes lost the Kentucky senate race by 15 and won SoS by 3. So my question is, does a large win as a ag or SoS really signify anything?
