An extremely unpopular former VP of a President who had just lost reelection four years earlier going up against the incumbent President with a 58% approval rating with OUT the man who was described as a spoiler that took away votes from Republicans?


Clinton crushes Potatoe of course, flipping most if not all states that f voted under 5% in OTL, with the possible exception of Texas
