That erases Reid's cash on hand advantage.  Ironically, this might mean that Angle is a stronger candidate than Lowden would have been, since I doubt Lowden could have raised half that much.

Lowden would have defeated Reid by double digits in a cakewalk. Instead, the GOP went with a nutter who may very well lose after taking all that donor money. But yeah "stronger candidate." Whatev.

I find it very difficult to believe that a candidate who ran such a terrible campaign that she couldn't get out of the primary would have had a cakewalk running against a much better funded and polished opponent than Angle.

$14 million is a lot of money for a candidate from a small state to raise.  Lowden might not have even raised half of that amount.

So, by that logic, you think that O'Donnell is a better candidate than Castle. He could get out of the primary either. This is where the GOP was before Angle
