Solid. I like O'Rourke.

Hot Take: Texas is more likely to flip than Michigan.

Reminder that O'Rourke got into Congress by running on marijuana legalization.

I get the feeling I'm gonna become a very big Beto O'Rourke fan by the end of the year.

Of course, O'Rourke isn't even the strongest Democratic candidate for so many reasons. It'll be fun watching Cruz still win by about 10 or so. Remember, sharing the ballot with Abbott and the Straight R option help, too.

Who is, pray tell?

I imagine Ted Cruz is really likable if you're a semi-condescending member of your local College Republicans group. Everyone else hates him and everyone like him.

So there's now talk of Cruz replacing Sessions as Attorney General.  If that should occur, what happens in the special election to replace Cruz?
Would they even hold a special election? Only a little over a year until 2018 midterms; I think the governor would appoint someone and the election would go on as normally scheduled.

Please be True, I'd hope to god Abbot would pick Hurd as a replacement.

You know in your heart he'd almost certainly pick some asshole like Joe Barton or Lamar Smith.

There's always a chance that someone else did this on his account, especially considering most politicians hardly manage their own Twitter accounts.

I find it hard to believe that Cruz would do this.

It's weird that Cruz's intern was watching porn starring a woman who looks like Heidi Cruz.
