Updating my prediction based on some more information:

Romney: 46%
Huckabee: 15%
Tancredo: 12%
T. Thompson: 10%
Brownback: 7%
Paul: 6%
Hunter: 2%
Cox: 2%

Just curious... what information?

More knowledge of Huckabee's levels of organization at the Fair, for example.

My Final Prediction:

Romney: 26%
Brownback: 13%
Tancredo: 12%
Huckabee: 11%
Giuliani: 9%
Paul: 8%
T. Thompson: 7%
F. Thompson: 6%
Hunter: 4%
McCain: 3%

Keyes: about 0.5%
Cox: about 0.3%
Gilmore: about 0.2%

Turnout prediction: 30.000-35.000 votes will be cast

And yes, there are indeed a few Keyes supporters there: Tongue

One of the Ron Paul organizers was on saying that they had a lot of support from out of state. Meaning people were driving in and volunteering but not many from in the state. They still think they'll be in the top 5 though.

Well, those organizers could try to convert people who got their ticket and transportation from the Romney camp. Also, let's not forget how much available money Paul has to spend so he could buy tickets for people.

Coverage is on C-SPAN right now.

Gingrich is speaking right now for some reason, delivering a CarlHayden-esq rant on illegal immigration.

Ron Paul spending money on people? I think not!

Also worth noting is that I hear Paul's wife has had to go to the hospital. I'm not sure if that is going to have an impact or not.

He's saying they should create a system to track felons which would also keep illegal immigrants who commit crimes not stay in the country. I guess you support keeping illegal felons in the country.

He is actually buying people's tickets though.

I love it how some people (mainly Democrats and liberal pundits on the media) were predicting with certaintly that Republicans would NEVER consider a Mormon candidate, and now look at Romney, leading in both Iowa and New Hampshire.

these same people are the same ones who are "predicting" with certainty that a Democrat is going to win the White House in 2008

How are we going to track them? Barcodes? Microchips?

No thanks, lets just throw them in jail and not pretend that illegal immigrants are the only ones that commit crimes.

Names, pictures and finger prints. You know what he means. He also said counties who wouldn't help should be removed from all federal aid (which should happen since many counties love to keep illegals around). Let's just throw them back to their home country, that would be easier, and cheaper.

I don't disagree with that; I just don't appreciate it when some try to make it sound like illegal immigrants are good for nothing and are the only ones that commit crimes in this country.

Anyway, it looks like the Romney cult has just barreled into the arena...

They sure like Brownback, Tancredo and Tommy Thompson in that presentation. They've shown them the most so far.

It's Iowa and country, they like it but the rest of us (and probably a lot of people that went there) don't.

Cox and Paul look really bad. They look half dead, should try some sleep. Tongue

Tommy Thompson and Brownback also got the second biggest applause (obviously Romney got the biggest).

Mitt needs to start dressing casual, the look works for him.

So little applause for Paul. I've a feeling today won't be a good day for us Paul supporters.
