You will constantly hear from republican politicians especially from the fast growing sunbelt states talking about how companies should abandon blue states and come to business friendly red states but somehow abandoning the politics of their old states. You can’t really do that as those liberal employees usually make up a majority of the employees or are very influential in those spaces. So how exactly would those republican politicians entice companies to move there but somehow not affecting their states ideological makeup. It seems like this has backfired a bit in some states like VA, AZ, GA, TX as those states are far more progressive than they were a decade ago

Those republicans are prioritizing economic growth for their states over politics. Must be hard for democrats to understand.
