I doubt homosexuality was only legalized in Sweden after 2003. That's when it was throughout the entire US (Lawrence vs. Texas.)

Now it might've happened after some US states (the first state to repeal its sodomy law and  legalize homosexuality was Illinois in 1962, most states did in the 70s.) But it wasn't until Lawrence v. Texas that that was the case in every state.

It was legalised in Sweden 1944...

So much earlier than most places. I believe France the UK and Canada weren't until the 60s.

The Sexual Offences Act 1967 legalised homosexual sex between men over the age of 21, but only in England and Wales. It wasn't legal in Scotland until 1980 and not in Northern Ireland until 1982. The age of consent was not equalised until 2000/2001. Amusingly, female homosexual sex has never been illegal here.

Ah, I knew it was later in Northern Ireland at least. Didn't Ian Paisley campaign against that under the slogan "Save Ulster from sodomy!"? That is just LOL (seriously, say it out loud.)

Looks like Canada did it in 1969 and France was actually back in 1791(!), though they didn't equalize the age of consent until 1982 and it was illegal and punishable by death under Nazi occupation.

Indeed he did. There are probably pictures of it on the internets.

(It's even funnier if you imagine it in his voice, of course. Because most things are).

Sure why  not. I thinks it one of the funniest things to see some crazy guy running naked in the streets.
