I would love to do this for the UK

"Fulwood—Poulton-le-Fylde—Garstang" would be a far better name than "Wyre and Preston North"

William Hague would be the MP for "Northallerton—Swaledale—Richmondshire"

I've always fancied doing UK style names for the US to be honest.

"New York Central North", "Las Vegas and District", that sort of thing.

Here are some easy ones: Wyoming, Vermont, D.C. Tongue

Haha

Just picking Kansas at random,

KS1 = "Kansas Central and West"
KS2 = "Topeka and Kansas East"
KS3 = "Kansas City"
KS4 = "Wichita and Pratt"

I'll do Maryland as requested but might well leave it at that Wink

The Boundary Commission for England has reported and recommends the renaming as follows. The temptation to call MD1, "Maryland Banks", was only just averted.

MD1 = "Eastern Shore"
MD2 = "Aberdeen, Dundalk and Baltimore Outer"
MD3 = "Baltimore South and Maryland South East"
MD4 = "Severna Park, Prince George's North East and Suitland"
MD5 = "Maryland South"
MD6 = "Maryland North East"
MD7 = "Baltimore Central and North"
MD8 = "Cities of Bethesda and Westminster"

Yeah; harsh gerrymandering makes this impossible. Don't try.

What's being alluded to here is the fact that in the early days of the forum (like a decade or so ago now) several of us did in fact try. Drove us all completely mad.

Yeah, I can see that =/

As much as I enjoyed having five tabs open to fathom out the extent of a county, I'd rather not go through that routine again, no matter how much it entertains my autistic tendencies.
