Has anyone noticed 'phrases' as they read down their list? It's all coincidental and a little fun

I have

'Believe right vote'
'gay good'
'new scotland much same'
'first conservative two snp' - which is scary!
'left mean lab'
'Bush policy however little work' Grin
'public school example' - very apt
'different abortion position'
'strong keep libertarian'
'republican votes personal problem'
'tory legislation working'
'disagree muslims schools ' :/

And on people

'seem private al' - indeed he does Smiley
'(american) dave possible tory'

I pointed out "system favor incumbent" from mine.

Others include:

"Democrats election win right now"
"Say Obama yes"
"run against government"
"President campaign voted Bloomberg"
"Brownback Canada certain disagree"
"Tory wealthy death" Tongue

What order were the names of politicians in for everybody?

For me (according to this)...

1. Obama (830)
2. Clinton (543)
3. Edwards (468)
4. Romney (342)
5. Giuliani (308)
6. Hillary (271)
7. Lieberman (237)
8. McCain (234)
9. Thompson (224)
10. Bush (201)
11. Santorum (175)
12. Richardson (168)
13. Paul (161)
13. Lamont (150)

I have only seen it down to 150 words. I'm amazed Bush is that low.

I've now updated the applet to include three extra progress trackers; it should now track progress every step of the way instead of having the end processing done in the background.

You'll probably need to refresh the page to see the new applet.

thanks, Gabu.

It seems I've said "Naso" more than "Bush" and "Gporter" more than both.

It's come to my attention that some people (including me) apparently can't post and run the applet at the same time, likely due to the web server having a problem with the constant accessing of the website.  As such, I've added a pause button to the applet, which enables people to post without having to restart the entire process after doing so.

Does anybody know how many times gporter has said dreams? I must admit I'm surprised that he has mentioned Kennedy more than Reagan.

That surprised me too, but I've tested the program pretty rigorously to ensure that it's getting the correct counts of each word, and as far as I can tell, it's working properly.  Don't want to get into a HAL 9000 state of belief that it's impossible that it could be malfunctioning, though. Wink

I refuse on the grounds that he asked for it.

Oh come on... don't you want to know how many times he has said "Dobbs" or "Rothschild" (or as he sometimes spells it "rothild")?

Please?

Problem is, when I type in my ID, its compiles pages, and then sits there with a blank screen. Some of these people are getting it done somehow, so I figured I'd ask them.

What do you mean "a blank screen"?  Have you tried refreshing it?  Previously it just processed the results in the background, but now it gives the progress at each stage.  It could be that you just didn't wait long enough.

Well, what I meant is blank in teh results box. It starts at 0/552 pages, then goes up, hits 552/552, then just sits there.

Might be that Im using Flock, instead of IE. Ill try IE now.

That's an average of 1.48 words per post...so I'd suggest that despite your high post count this is unlikely to be the 'record'.

Having the most posts on the board, Gabu would be the prohibitive favourite. He would need an average of greater than 1.23 words per post to top your total.
