As far as I'm concerned Nader is exactly like Kim Jong-Il: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4157121.stm

He has a cult of personality. His followers are brainwashed. I've talked to them before and they just recite whatever nonsense he spews. Corporate duoply, blah blah blah. They don't think for themselves. He brainwashes people into a political cult (kind of like LaRouche). He's very authoritarian. Wants to outlaw gambling and said so during his campaign. And his web site was very Big Brotherish during the campaign. He talked about how Michael Moore, the Green Party and others who used to work with him and then turned on him were "once good guys, now bad guys." He also then called them irrelevant. His ego is as big as Stalin's and he just wants to be worshipped in the same way. I thank God he will never be in any position of power.

BRTD I'm perplexed at the apparent contradictions of this post.

First, of the people running for president last year, Nader's views probably come closest to yours. He supports many of the socialist ideas you support.

I don't support Halliburton, or aligning with Republicans, or insulting Michael Moore, or saying that both parties are identical, or supporting someone with an ego as big as Stalin like Nader.

Second it's surprising that you, an advocate of communism, would be appalled by the things communists do.

See, I don't support this type of communism. The same way I didn't support the USSR.

Third, dictating how people cut their hair is by far one of the least egregious violations of human rights the communists have committed.

But it does show how ridiculous things can get when you micromanage everything.
