Absolutely horrible and evil, particularly in the light of the constant praise the west showers on it.

To be fair, the only thing most Americans who know anything about Bhutan know is that their king looks like an Asian Elvis.

But yeah, after reading just a few articles about Bhutan, it's pretty terrifyingly awful.

Fantastic overview, Nathan. I was vaguely aware that Bhutan mistreated it's Nepalese minority, but I wasn't aware of the details, or really anything but that and the Asian Elvis thing. Thanks for explaining.
