"Avon River" works, or perhaps "Avon River-Gingin", since Gingin is a bit removed from the River.

Thanks for that, I was trying to incorporate the various parts of the seat, but you're right, my original solution was too long.

Avon River-Gingin sounds excellent!

Don't hesitate going with geographic features. This is not an exercise in combining all of the LGAs in a division into a name. Of course, as I add more (when I get time), I may resort to that, as my knowledge of Aussie geography is lacking (but this is my attempt to learn more Smiley )

In that case, Hasluck could be called Darling, and Swan and Canning could stay as they are.

I would love to do this for the UK

"Fulwood—Poulton-le-Fylde—Garstang" would be a far better name than "Wyre and Preston North"

William Hague would be the MP for "Northallerton—Swaledale—Richmondshire"

The UK (and US for that matter) with Australian division names would also be fun to do!
