The Democrats have now won every electoral vote, every statewide office, every race for Congress and have controlled near-veto-proof majorities in both houses of the state legislature at every election in Connecticut since 2006. Just about the most significant success the GOP can claim to have had in the past three elections is the 2010 defeat of (only) one incumbent state Senator.
