With an important referendum occurring in the UK, Trump decided to visit Scotland to open a new golf course.

He did talk about the referendum, but only once he was asked about it. Once asked, he said that the vote was Obama's fault and that the falling value of the pound would help his business. This is the least presidential and most egocentric response he could have said, and he said it.

He also tweeted, "Just arrived in Scotland. Place is going wild over the vote. They took their country back, just like we will take America back." It's almost like he doesn't know that Scotland voted against the referendum.

In conclusion, Trump is an egotistical, unpresidential idiot, and it's Sad! that this isn't surprising anymore.

Trump is on point for Trump, as usual. We should not be surprised by anything he does.

I especially laughed when I saw in the headline news that he blamed Obama for the split.

Such depth and insight....the GOP chose well their candidate.

Well at least he didn't take credit for it, there was a good chance he would.

Yeah, Scotland is part of Britain and there were a million Scots who voted to leave. Trump is correct.

Britain are never given a fair chance to win Eurovision based on the voting system, so I can understand why they left.

There were more Scottish votes against the Brexit than for it. (In fact, 62% of Scots wanted to stay in the EU.) Trump's tweet implied the opposite.

What he actually said was:

Obviously he was talking about the region in general, not just his business.

The Obama part is misleading, as well. He was mostly commenting about how inappropriate it was for Obama to visit a foreign country and tell them how to vote on their own referendum. Which is a pretty valid point.

How 40-45% of people could state they'd vote for this guy...Then again, those people probably don't understand Brexit either.

It's about taking back our nations!  We don't want to lose our money, our culture, our sovereignty.
We would move mountains to elect Trump.

Bolded the part about his business. He was obviously talking about it. But even if he was talking about the region in general in the second sentence, the fact that he's comparing the financial success of one of his golf courses to the economic success of a country highlights how little he understands the economy.

Also, Trump clearly did name Obama as one of the reasons the referendum passed. He said:

Comedian Simon Brodkin crashed Donald Trump's Scottish golf course opening and tried to present him with swastika golf balls.

Watch the video and see the swastika golf balls here, via CNN :

That's EXACTLY what they are saying: Make America [White Anglo Saxon Protestant Christian majority] Again."

Some douchebag in Tennessee beat him to the punch, though:

Well, he made some good points though I disagree with him at one point. The EU is a good thing, but it has to be reformed. I'm not dissatisfied that Great Britain leaves now. They always insisted on special conditions and treatment and our leaders didn't stand up this. The EU can only function, when all members play by the same rules that they imposed on themselves.

As per usual, he overshadows whatever actual policy position he has by hawking his personal business interest and reminding us that Hillary can't outcorrupt Donald.

But dude, you're the one who thinks every white is a vicious racist who are going to elect Trump in a landslide specifically because of attacks against Hispanics and blacks because the more racist a campaign the better it does amongst whites.

Other fun facts to emerge from TrumpMiller's visit to Scotland:

He's lying to the FEC (or the government of Scotland) about how profitable his properties there are.

And, while he claims he's going to make Mexico pay for a border wall, he can't make a couple of Scots pay for a small wooden fence.

Trump: lying orange sack. He should go back to his previous careers of defrauding stupid rich people, and imitating a Cheeto on TV.

Love it.

Surprised Trump didn't accept the balls and then claim that he has no idea what a swastika symbolizes and that the media is being very unfair to him by portraying this as being in any way, shape or form an endorsement of Nazism. And making sure to mention that lots of people, smart people, the best people, are saying they agree with him.
