As many of you already saw, I have made the decision to not seek re-election to the Senate. This came not out of a desire for a higher office or fear of losing re-election, but because of the fact that in the recent days and weeks I haven't pulled my full weight in the Senate. I successfully co-led the charge for fair wages and sportsmen's rights, but I've noticed that I've been absent or only somewhat present in Senate debates. Some of this is mere forgetfulness on my part, but most of it comes from preoccupation from various other activities. I'm proud overall of my work representing the Midwest, but not proud enough.

Hence, I have decided to step down at the end of my term and endorse the (so far) sole candidate in this race, my friend and fellow Laborite TNF. Until my term ends, I will make an effort to improve my presence in the Senate.

I will be seeking the Labor nomination for President. I have nothing else to do, so why not? I'll endorse Nix when I lose.

Since it's pretty clear that Nix is going to win, and I was supporting him anyway, I hereby exit the race and re-endorse him for the presidency. Drj is still running AFAIK.
