The President should be making calls on a wired, secure connected. Any wireless calls could be breached, even on a secure cell phone line.

Encryption can make wireless very secure. Of course I wouldn't expect someone who supported a candidate in a Presidential primary who wanted to backdoor all encryption to understand that.

No doubt that a "cellphone" is less secure than the million-dollar phone system I'm sure exists in the White House.
Trump is just an idiot, and half the things he says and suggests, he just doesn't understand as proper presidential protocol (OK, OK .... it's probably more than "half").

They easily spent at least a million on Obama's cellphone. And yes, it had encryption.
