Republican congressman Ron Paul is libertarian in his philosophy.

Howard Dean could just as easily be populist.  In fact, I think that he could have won in a landslide and that he can do for the Democrats what Reagan did for the Republicans.  I want Howard Dean to be the next DNC Chair.

Dean believes in free trade, big business, few gun restrictions, less taxes, less social programs? I think not.

Dean is NOT a libertarian. What libertarian would purpose raising taxes instead of cutting spending to balance the budget?

wasn't Howard Dean for Socialized medicine though, either that or government health insurance.  Although some positions of his sounded libertarian, such as pulling out of Iraq and less guncontrol, I can't think of a single libertarian who would say we should hav more government involvement in the health industry
