Alabama judge strikes down ban on gay marriage

The only thing I'm surprised about is Ohio and Michigan still not having it.

I'd always thought that the Democratic states would preceed the swing states (of course, not always in order), which would preceed the Republican states, with the Deep South and certain Plains and Western states holding out until a SCOTUS ruling.

We had it here in Michigan for about 24 hours, and then an activist judge in the 6th circuit reversed the ruling, reinstating the ban.
