Why release the Whitey tape now? Better to wait until shortly before the election, like Gore did with the DUI secret in Bush's closet.

Why release the Whitey tape now? Better to wait until two weeks before the election, like Gore did with the DUI secret in Bush's closet.

Politico I hate to break it to you but Obama was already elected President four years ago.

If you had that tape four years ago, what would you have done with it then? And now?

Amazing. This president is squeaky clean. The level of scunity afforded presidential races these days is unprecedented yet THIS is the best they can come up with.

No, no, no... they have better. Much better. It's just that they're... uh... waiting... for a better time to release it.

Gore proved that you drop the bombshell shortly before the election. The Bin Laden tape in 2004 reinforced this.

Yeah, Politico, that was 3 years and 50 weeks ago,...

If the Whitey tape exists, it was bought by somebody over four years ago.

I don't understand, though. Why would they hold it until Obama's already served a full term in office, bringing socialism and destruction in his wake? Huh

Buy low, sell high. Can you imagine how much that tape would fetch this month? Can you imagine how much Romney would have paid for it four years ago?

It probably does not exist, but nothing would surprise me. I mean, neither Romney nor Obama is Arthur Frobisher or anything, but if I were one of them I would have spent whatever it takes to get a hold of that tape if it existed.

The most important indicator: Whether or not NBC Nightly News runs it tonight.
