Trend is not in Bidens favor. If anything it tells us that the Race is static despite Bidens well received SOTU Speech by the Mainstream Media.

Everyone expected Biden would get a bump out of it.

Swingy as always but something interesting here - last week Biden was up b/c he was at parity with Trump among their 2020 voters bases - this week its back to Biden 84% and Trump 90%. However, this has them tied among Independents now, Biden's best result with the group in this poll in many, many weeks. I think last week it was Trump +4 and before that like Trump +6/7. Something to keep note of.

Yes, the topline number didn't shift towards Biden, however:

Following his State of the Union address, Biden's net buzz — the share who recently heard something positive about him minus the share who recently heard something negative — ticked up to 3 points underwater. It's the closest Biden's net buzz figure has been to even since May 2023, just after he announced his re-election campaign.

There are signs Biden's State of the Union address is assuaging some voter concerns about his age — particularly among his own base. Comparing surveys conducted before and after the March 7 speech, the share of voters who said Biden is “too old” fell slightly compared with the previous week, from 68% to 65%, while the share who disagreed with the sentiment grew from 26% to 30%.

And I'll save you the effort. Yes, the economy is the top issue among voters in this poll.

Voters aren't gonna tell pollsters that they will vote for Biden until the last minute and they will have J6, the users want Biden to up by 7/10 like he was over the summer in order to be reelected, it's not gonna be that way in the polls but a 203 map with wave Insurance is possible
