I like him. He's fun and folksy. He wouldn't be able to be painted as "an out of touch Ivy League elitist" who is "coming after your guns and Jesus."

Any Democrat can be portrayed as anything the Republicans want, with the help of FOX. Just look at Obama.

Barack Obama is also brown, has a funny name, went to Columbia and Harvard, and had that whole "cling to their guns and religion," thing. It'd be much more difficult to portray Schweitzer as the latte liberal archetype.
