Harassment via PM

Hey all,

Every so often, I get annoying PMs from Jamespol.  He has been banned at least once but keeps coming back with different SN's. 

I keep blocking his new names but does anyone have any other suggestions?  It's not a huge deal...just an annoyance.  I wish this child would just grow up, put a period behind this whole sad affair and move to another message board somewhere.  But seriously...why do *I* have to even bother go to the trouble and block his PMs?  I have managed to block his emails to my AOL address.

Is anyone else experiencing this?  Is he using a proxy and therefore, his IP can't be banned?

As far as proxy goes, I do not know.  I get some interesting messages from other that have been "blocked" from time to time, but I just delete them without reading them.

Problem is, he changes SNs so often, I don't know who it is.

No big deal really, MODU.  I just can't understand why some people just like to behave this way.

I don't often defend MODU, but I some how doubt that he's harassing you.

I'm pretty sure the lil' fella was saying that I am harassing him.  Which is LOL funny.

JS - Why not PM Dave Leip or one of the mods explaining his harassment......let the hatchet men get the job done.

If it keeps up, I will.  I am not particularly fond of banning anyone -- even those who contribute precisely nothing.  But poor Leip...this guy has already put him through the wringer several times.  And really, I am not sure it's possible to completely ban a person if they have multiple IPs.

I feel bad for even bringing this up.  This goes back a long way to an email string I invited Tex to join.  As I have said before, she and I always got along great and she was never anything but kind and helpful to me.  She was a natural fit with our little group.  I vouched for James when she asked if he could joing the group (I should have read his posts here first) who, within a week, was sending out emails to these folks -- dear friends of mine from way back -- about how horribly he was treated here at the Atlas.  All the stuff about accounts not being deleted and etc, etc etc.  The Atlas elite have threatened me with bodily harm and on and on.  Pure drama.  We all encouraged him to get over it, put a period after this episode and move on with his new friends.  Within days, he was spewing all kinds of crap about blacks.  To a group of lefties who are -- well -- leftier than even I am! 

To be fair, Tex was pure gold to the group and remains a positive, contributing member.  They love her and I can see why.  But James?  He's not well.  And ever since then, he has been sending me emails, PMs and trying to recreate the drama back here.

Someone who knows him very well has given me some wonderful advice.  Just ignore him completely -- let Leip handle it.  And I shall.  I only posted, hoping there might be a quick and easy means of being rid of his PMs for good -- something I wasn't aware of.  I should have PM'd a moderator and not gone public.

So I apologize gang.  I am locking the thread and hopefully -- no more drama!  Thanks for your support.
